Spring is definitely in the air and fresh blooms are everywhere to behold.
We decided to take advantage of the sunny day (they happen so
infrequently in the Seattle area) and made our way north to the Skagit
Valley for some tulip viewing.
According to Sunset Magazine, the Skagit Valley produces
approximately seventy-five percent of our nation's cut tulip crop.

To our delight, they were in peak bloom!
Thomas sneaking around and having a lot of fun.
Miles of farmland and tulips!
We enjoyed a lovely evening... Tip-toeing through the tulips.
