Sometimes, waiting or sacrificing things is actually just opening the door for God to grant us the desires of our hearts in a spectacular way...

Whale Beach

How did we spend our weekend before Christmas?

(Don't be jealous...)

We've been relaxing on the beach...

No last minute shopping for us...

Sorry if your Christmas card is a bit late this year.

We have been preoccupied with...

    Blue Bottle Jelly Fish

Watching the kids play in the sand...

Watching the pounding surf rushing in and out...

Enjoying the warming days of  Summer...

Slowing down to savor the moment.

We are falling in love with the beaches of Australia... they are so pristine and beautiful!

The one downside is the amount of people who flock to them on the weekends!  Yet, the further out one drives away from the city, the more quiet and peacefull they become...

We have a favorite for now... we will most likely escape to it when ever possible...

It's our little secret...

Ahhhhhhh..... lovely. I'll just come here and stare at your photos and imagine the calm that overtakes with each breath of the ocean waves. Thank you for sharing your pictures. Jealous, no .... but ever so thankful that the Lord has seen fit to tuck in moments of joy amidst a difficult transition for you.
You are in our thoughts and prayers -- even in the middle of sickness and puppies and Christmas! We love you guys. Hugs and kisses!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Dears,

I'm about to leave for my traditional christmas vacation. For this year it is Central America, next year, if things work out, it's visiting you. Have wonderful time. You'll hear from me, when I'm back from this year's adventure.

a big hug
